1986 Madonna was getting a lecture from her father for the #1 Song of Summer, Peter Cetera stepped away from Chicago and told us about "The Glory of Love." Featured in The Karate Kid part II movie, it was at #1 for two weeks and spent five weeks at #1 on the Adult Contemporary chart.
Cetera has said that he originally wrote and composed "Glory of Love" as the end title for the film Rocky IV, but it was passed over by United Artists, instead ultimately being used as the theme for The Karate Kid Part II.
