1983 - Eliminator - ZZ Top

40 Years Ago - 1983 ZZ Top released their eighth album Eliminator.

This became ZZ Top's biggest album featuring four singles.

"Gimme All Your Lovin'" peaked at #37 on the Hot 100 (?really?) and #2 on the Top Tracks chart.

"Sharp Dressed Man" was next peaking at #56 (again...really?) and #8 Mainstream Rock Tracks.

"TV Dinners" with the cool claymation video was next, but didn't have a commercial single so no chart but #38 on Top Tracks.

The final single "Legs" was the smash, peaking at #8 and making #13 on the Club chart. This was also the debut of their spinning Sheepskin-Covered guitars.

Also remember, there are two bearded members, Billy Gibbons and Dusty Hill, and the non-bearded drummer is Frank Beard.
