1979 - Tusk - Fleetwood Mac

45 Years Ago - 1979 Fleetwood Mac released the follow up to their Album of the Year Grammy winner Rumors with Tusk.

The double album (which might have done better as a single, cost and content-wise) was regarded as a commercial failure by the label, selling four million copies.

Rolling Stone said it is less a collection of finished songs than a mosaic of pop-rock fragments by individual performers."

The American singles were

"Tusk" (which I find confusing as a hit now..and kind of then) peaked at #8

"Sara" (brilliant) made #7 and #13 AC.

"Think About Me" peaked at #20 and #39 AC.

"Sisters of the Moon" made #86.
