Every great action hero needs a badass name. And a website called YardBarker came up with a list of the 25 best. But they only considered characters that were created for the screen, so John McClane from "Die Hard" and Sylvester Stallone's John Rambo were disqualified. They both started their lives in books.

Here are some of the highlights from the list:

1. Snake Plissken, "Escape from New York" (1981)

2. Ellen Ripley, "Alien" (1979)

3. Indiana Jones, "Raiders of the Lost Ark" (1981)

4. Mack "Truck" Turner, "Truck Turner" (1974)

5. Philo Beddoe, "Every Which Way but Loose" (1978)

6. Han Solo, "Star Wars" (1977)

7. Foxy Brown, "Foxy Brown" (1974)

8. Tom Cody, "Streets of Fire" (1984)

9. Harry Callahan, "Dirty Harry" (1971)

10. Marion Cobretti, "Cobra" (1986)

12. Furiosa, "Mad Max: Fury Road" (2015)

13. Kowalski, "Vanishing Point" (1971)

14. Roger O. Thornhill, "North by Northwest" (1959)

15. Buckaroo Banzai, "The Adventures of Buckaroo Banzai Across the 8th Dimension" (1984)

A recent poll asked people about some (very) unusual ketchup pairings, and then people voted on whether or not they'd like it.

Here are the results:

Not surprising, Scrambled eggs . . . 56% said they do it all the time.

Grilled cheese . . . 37% said they'd do it.

Tacos . . . Only 8% said they could get behind that.

Rice . . . 14% said they'd do it.

Pasta . . . 14% said they'd do it. (hey..that's sketti)

Salad . . . Only 3% said they could get behind that.

Popcorn . . . Only 4% said they could get behind that.

Meatloaf . . . 73% said they thought it was normal. (not weird)

Cake . . . Only 1% said they'd try it, depending on the cake.

"Cosmo" coined this term in 2019, but a lot of people are just learning it. Have you heard about the dating trend called "snow-globing" yet?

It's when someone uses the holidays to make you think your relationship is more serious than it really is. For example, they might get you a romantic Christmas gift, or let you meet their family. But once the holidays are over, things cool down fast.

Sometimes it's malicious, but it can also happen by accident if you just get carried away with the romance of the holidays. It sort of goes hand in hand with "cuffing season," when people look for someone to hook up with until the weather gets nice again. Then they move on.

"Time" magazine's Person of the Year choice always offends Somebody, but this year it offended a lot of somebodies. They went with billionaire Elon Musk.

"Time" says, quote, "Person of the Year is a marker of influence, and few individuals have had more influence than Musk on life on Earth, and potentially life off Earth too.

"In 2021, Musk emerged not just as the world's richest person but also as perhaps the richest example of a massive shift in our society."

Time had previously announced Simone Biles as Athlete of the Year and Olivia Rodrigo as Entertainer of the Year.

They have another new category called Heroes of the Year and it went to, quote, "Vaccine scientists and the miracle of mRNA."

In a quick poll of almost 2,500 Americans, only 29% agree with "Time's" choice, while 33% disagree. The other 38% aren't sure.

Someone else pointed out that "People" magazine did it better, when they gave the honor to Dolly Parton.

A man in Tulsa, Oklahoma drove to a Walmart and parked in the fire lane.

Some cops saw it, and asked him to move. He did and then he parked in a spot that was reserved for Police. There was a sign posted and everything.

So the cops looked up the plates, and discovered that the car was reported stolen. They arrested the driver for fraud and his passenger had fentanyl on her, so she was taken into custody too.

In addition to the drugs, she also gave the police a fake name and had an outstanding warrant out for her arrest.
