The Uber Eats delivery service released a list of the most "unexpected food combos" people ordered this year . . . and ham and cream cheese was one of them.
Here's the rest of the list:
1. Fruit Roll-Up and Hot Cheetos. This PROBABLY wasn't ordered as a sandwich wrap . . . but there was a TikTok trend of people mixing the two, so this was likely people were ordering both items to be picked up from a store so they could try it on their own.
2. Pickles and Whipped Cream
3. Popcorn and Pickle Juice
4. Dark Chocolate and Tomato Salad
5. Pizza and Applesauce
6. Sushi and Ranch
7. Peanut Butter and Pizza
8. Cheese and Martinis.
9. Watermelon and Mustard. There was also a trend of people trying this on social media last year . . . even Lizzo did it.
The most POPULAR delivery combo was a burrito and cheese. The second most-popular was fries with salt.
The other popular combos are:
Cheeseburger with diced onions . . . chicken sandwich with fries . . . breakfast sandwich with American cheese . . . soup with bread . . . pancakes and sausage . . . pizza with mozzarella . . . salad with balsamic vinaigrette . . . and a quesadilla with sour cream.

An "art collective" called MSCHF has created a cereal called "Big Fruit Loop," which is a box with a single, giant Fruit Loop inside. Obviously, it's a play on the actual Froot Loops cereal, but this is an UNAUTHORIZED stunt, so they had to create their own recipe to mimic the real one.
They didn't reveal how they made it, other than saying that "it was not easy."
The Big Fruit Loop boxes will be sold online for $19.99. It's unclear how many will be available . . . so if you want one, you should go to the website BigFruitLoop.com and see if they are still abailable.
The color of the Fruit Loop you get is random. They haven't released any measurements for it, but it weighs around half a pound, or the equivalent of about half a box of regular Froot Loops mashed into one bowl-filling monstrosity that's roughly the size of the box, and it's 930 calories. One serving of the REAL cereal is 150 calories.

Have you ever lived in an apartment with paper-thin walls? It's usually the noise that gets you, not this . . .
A college kid in Illinois named McKenna Buchanan posted a TikTok video . . . after her neighbor's HAMSTER chewed through their shared wall and popped its head out of the hole.
It was a small hole at first, and she heard a weird sound. So she texted her roommate for help.
She said something was digging into their place, and the roommate's reply was, "Um . . . WHAT?"
The hamster . . . whose name is Linda . . . eventually popped her head out. But she wouldn't come out of the wall, so they had to lure her out with tortilla chips.
McKenna let her neighbor know what happened, and Linda is back home. It's not clear who's paying to fix the wall, but their landlord can't be thrilled about it.

The average dirty dish sits in the sink for a DAY AND A HALF, according to a new survey.
That's even though 70% of people polled said they have a dishwasher.
One demographic really caused that average to shoot up though . . . and it's young people. Most people over 25 said more than a day is too long. But half of Gen Zers said anywhere between one and FOUR days is acceptable.
The poll also asked people how they load their dishwasher, and which things go on the top and bottom racks.
Here's the consensus . . .
The things we're most likely to put on the bottom rack are plates, pots-and-pans, and utensils in their little basket. And on the top rack, it's coffee mugs, glasses, travel mugs, and plasticware. Bowls could be top or bottom, depending.
One more random stat:
The average American has five things sitting in their FREEZER right now that they haven't touched since the start of 2022.

McDonald's released its annual report on the most popular menu items of the year. The top three were French fries, cheeseburgers, and McChickens. Fries were #1 in all 50 states.
But here's a different stat that jumped out at us: Thousands of Americans ate at least 100 BIG MACS this year.
Over 5,000 people have ordered Big Macs or McNuggets at least 100 times. And that's just people who used the app between January 1st and October 6th. 100-plus in nine months is around three Big Macs a week.
Here are a few more quick stats from the report . . .
1. Ketchup is still the most popular condiment. They handed out way more of it than any other sauce . . . probably because it's free.
2. McFlurrys are popular, even in winter. Dozens of people in Anchorage, Alaska still ordered them on the coldest day of the year in January. Also, the most common thing we get with a McFlurry is fries. So a lot of us are dippers.
3. Filet-O-Fish sandwiches are very popular in Hawaii. Hawaiians ordered more per capita than any other state. Maryland is next.
4. Late-night orders are big in New York City. New Yorkers were twice as likely to order late-night McDonald's compared to the rest of the country.
5. Large group orders are common, and the top day for them is coming up. The day with the most group orders this year was January 1st . . . probably because everyone was tired and hung over.

A guy in Australia just returned a library book that was 119 years overdue. His grandfather checked it out in 1903. It's an early copy of "Great Expectations" by Charles Dickens, still in excellent condition.

Today's Useless Fact of the Day - Poinsettias are not poisonous.
A study at Ohio State University showed that a 50-pound child would have to eat more than 500 leaves to have any harmful effect. And that's very unlikely, because they have an "awful taste."
BUT!!!! They are harmful to pets, and can give them an upset stomach.
