Celebrate National Chocolate-covered Anything, Barbie and Barney Backlash, Boston Tea Party, and Stupid Toy Day.

A company called U.S. Captioning does the subtitles for live events on TV. They also do an annual list of the most mispronounced words of the year.

They polled a bunch of newscasters and announcers to find out which words they had trouble with. Here are a few words you may have mispronounced in 2021.

1. "Cheugy" (CHOO-gee) A Gen Z term for things that are unfashionable or outdated.

2. "Chipotle" (chih-POHT-lay) Your dad will never stop calling it chih-POLT-ee.

3. "Dogecoin" (DOHJ-coin) A lot of people thought it was "doja," like Doja Cat. Or you might have said "doggy coin" at first. "Ethereum" also made the list.

4. "Eilish," as in Billie Eilish. People said "ELL-ish" a lot, or even "eye-LASH."

5. "Ever Given," the name of the ship that blocked the Suez Canal in March. People couldn't stop calling it the "Evergreen."

6. "Glasgow" (GLAHZ-go) President Biden and President Obama both said glas-GOW this year. You're not supposed to pronounce the "W" at the end.

7. "Omicron." We've only been saying it for two weeks, so it's still tripping people up. Maybe because no one can agree on the "right" way to say it. A poll last week found "OH-muh-cron" is the most popular, followed by "OH-me-cron" and "OH-my-cron."

A 31-year-old man named Anthony Silcox was a chef at a Waffle House in Caryville, Tennessee, which is about 30 miles from Knoxville.

And he was dealing meth on the side from the Waffle House kitchen.

The cops raided the place last Friday, and arrested Anthony while he was "standing next to the grill." He had some drugs on him along with paraphernalia. He admitted to police that he was selling meth at work, but "not everyday."

Anthony was charged with "sale and delivery of meth," which is a felony, along with misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia. His day in court is soon.

HGTV has a new show called "The Ugliest House in America".

Retta from "Parks and Recreation" and "Good Girls" will explore 12 homes with, quote, "stunningly bad design choices." The one deemed the ugliest will receive a $150,000 renovation.

Some of the horrible features in these homes include wall-to-wall pink shag carpeting, mirrored walls and ceilings, and over-the-top ocean themes featuring fish statues, room-sized murals and wall-mounted stuffed marlins."

The show will air on Mondays, starting January 3rd.

If you just decorated your place for the holidays and your internet suddenly sucks, this is why, putting anything in front of your router can cause issues, especially big things like a Christmas tree.

Something that big can block the signal and wreck your internet speed. So if your tree is blocking your line of sight to your router, move the router or the tree.

Lights and tinsel can make it even worse. When the radio waves your router pumps out hit tinsel, they bounce off and scatter, which can slow your WiFi down. The same can happen with ornaments too.

Here's one more tip: Plugging your lights and router into the same outlet also isn't a great idea, according to experts. Especially if the lights twinkle or flash.

Having them in the same outlet raises the chances of your connection dropping out.
