The Justice Department announced that last year it seized Bitcoin worth nearly $3.4 billion stolen from the Silk Road, a now-defunct marketplace on the dark web.

The Georgia man who pleaded guilty to stealing the Bitcoin — now worth just a third of that amount — had hidden it on devices throughout his home, including on a circuit board stashed in a popcorn tin.

While some may be tempted to offer the Sonoran Desert toad a kiss, the National Park Service urged visitors to leave the potentially deadly amphibians alone.

(but it looks so lickable)

The agency warned visitors on Facebook last week against licking the toads if they stumble across them. It's unclear whether a specific instance prompted the advisory, but "here we are," the National Park Service wrote.

"These toads have prominent parotoid glands that secrete a potent toxin," the post said. "It can make you sick if you handle the frog or get the poison in your mouth

Ever look at the clock and it's all the same number like 3:33 or 11:11? Get a receipt that's all the same number like $22.22?

These are called angel numbers. Angel numbers are repeating number sequences, often used as a guide for deeper spiritual exploration. These sequences can range from 000 to 999, and each has its own distinct meaning and energy.

"I think lots of people are looking for signs. But sometimes, there's like a fork in the road."

Seeing angel numbers can signify "green lights" toward whatever path you are taking, whether it be in relationships, job opportunities or other life occurrences.

In numerology, patterns always come in sets of three, and the more repetition of a number, the better. "Whenever we see one number repeated more than once, the more it gets repeated, the stronger it gets," said Novalee Wilder, professional numerologist.

This can be seen as the spiritual universe guiding you toward something or giving you support that you're on the right path.

Meet the newest Sexiest Man Alive: Chris Evans!

People magazine named the "Captain America" leading man as its latest hunk of the year, passing on the crown from 2021's sexiest man Paul Rudd.

Best known for his roles as Marvel superhero Steve Rogers/Captain America and more recently as Buzz Lightyear in the 2022 Pixar movie "Lightyear," Evans said his latest achievement will give his mom bragging rights and more to celebrate.

"My mom will be so happy," Evans, 41, told People in his Sexiest Man Alive cover story. "She's proud of everything I do but this is something she can really brag about."

Someone on Reddit asked guys to name things they're sick of being judged for, and being in his 50s and buying a red sports car made the list. The guy said he didn't have enough money to buy the car he always wanted until he got older. So stop assuming it's a midlife crisis!

Here are a few more random things guys said they're sick of being judged for . . .

1. Having non-manly hobbies. Like baking and gardening.

2. Being short. Don't judge people for things they can't control. Another guy said he's sick of people judging him for his receding hairline.

3. Pampering yourself with things like massages. It seems like women can get all the spa treatments they want. But if guys do it, they're weird.

4. Taking long, relaxing showers. If you take more than ten minutes, people assume you're doing something else in there.

5. Ordering a cocktail or "girl drink" instead of a beer. Why can't guys drink something that tastes good without being judged for it?

You don't get much "me time" when you have kids. So you have to make it happen: A poll of 1,000 parents found most have resorted to hiding out in the bathroom just to get away. Over 60% say they've done it.

According to the poll, here are the top ten things parents consider to be "me time" . . .

1. Watching TV.

2. Reading a book.

3. Going for a walk.

4. Sleeping.

5. Just sitting in total silence.

6. A relaxing bath.

7. Catching up with friends without your kids around.

8. Exercising.

9. Having a stiff drink.

10. Sitting down for a nice meal.

Today's Useless Fact of the Day - When Scrabble first came out in 1938 it was called Lexiko, and it was just a bunch of tiles with no board.
