You may recall that earlier in the year, news broke of a horror movie based on Winnie the Pooh, of all things. With the character having re-entered the public domain after Disney let the rights lapse, Pooh: Blood & Honey took the children’s character and made him a serial killer.
Coming Next, Bambi: The Reckoning, wherein Bambi will be a “vicious killing machine who lurks in the wilderness,” says the director. “The film will be an incredibly dark retelling of the 1928 story we all know and love. Prepare for Bambi on rabies!”

Tis the season for toys! Toys aren’t just for kids, though: one study found that 58% of adults in the U.S. have bought a toy for themselves.

Cops pulled a guy over early Thursday morning in Payson, Arizona and when they walked up to his window, there was an owl sitting next to him in the car.
It turned out the guy was on meth, so he got a DUI. But where did the owl come from? He told them he'd stopped at a gas station nearby, and some people in the parking lot sold him the owl for $100.
It's not clear why he wanted it. Again, he was on meth. But the people he bought it from told him they found it on the side of the road.
It was a small western screech owl, and it was injured. But it's doing better now. It's being treated at an animal rehabilitation center, and they hope to release it back into the wild soon.
Police put out a statement telling people not to use meth, or, quote, "you too may find yourself illegally purchasing a wild owl for $100 in the middle of the night, from strangers at a local gas station."

If you've watched the "Wednesday" series on Netflix, you've probably noticed Wednesday Addams doesn't blink too much. Which turned out to be a request from Tim Burton.
In an interview with "Teen Vogue", Jenna Ortega said, quote, "I did a take where I did not blink at all. And Tim said, 'I don't want you to blink anymore' . . .
"It just kind of happened because every time we started a take, I would reset my face. I would drop all the muscles in my face, and Tim really liked the Kubrick stare, where I stare through my eyebrows. It's just a bit intimidating."
She also said she used to get compared to Wednesday a lot growing up because she's very dry . . . and people couldn't tell when she was being serious or sarcastic.
