There’s a whole lotta’ misinformation goin’ on.

Rock ’n’ roll icon Jerry Lee Lewis is alive and well despite a report claiming otherwise, Page Six can confirm.

“He’s alive. TMZ reported erroneously off of a bulls–t anonymous tip,” the “Great Balls of Fire” singer’s rep told us on Wednesday.

TMZ incorrectly broke the news that Lewis passed away at his home in Memphis on Wednesday.

The beloved musician had been dealing with health issues recently, which likely lead to the speculation.

The people at CandyStore.com have released their annual list of the worst Halloween candies, which is voted on by more than 15,000 of their customers.

Here they are, so you know what not to buy . . .

1. Circus Peanuts. They've overtaken Candy Corn as the #1 worst this year, even though it's hard to imagine anyone actually handing out Circus Peanuts.

2. Candy Corn. Last year's #1.

3. Peanut Butter Kisses. Also #3 last year. Despite the name, they're neither Reese's Peanut Butter Cups nor Hershey's Kisses-level Halloween candy.

4. Necco Wafers. Up one spot from #5 last year. They would be #1 if there was a list of the chalkiest candies.

5. Wax Coke Bottles. Up one spot from #6 last year. Yes, they still exist.

6. Smarties. Down two spots from #4 last year. They would be #2 on that list of the chalkiest candies.

7. Mary Janes. Also #7 last year. If you're not familiar . . . they're a chewy peanut butter and molasses taffy-type candy.

8. Tootsie Rolls. Also #8 last year. This is for both regular Tootsie Rolls, and those flavored ones, which may be more or less appealing?

9. Black Licorice. Up one spot from #10 last year.

10. Good & Plenty. Down one spot from #9 last year. They're pretty much licorice, so it makes sense that they're back-to-back.

The 10 best candies are mostly the usual suspects: Reese's Peanut Butter Cups, M&Ms, Snickers, Skittles, and Sour Patch Kids as the Top Five . . . followed by Hershey bars, Kit Kats, Twix, and Butterfinger.

There is one new addition to the Top 10 this year: Hot Tamales, which have been around forever, but are apparently trendy again.

See the post here.

A writer for BuzzFeed thinks they came up with the best non-scary movies for Halloween.

They might not all be suitable for young kids, but probably won't give YOU nightmares . . .

1. "Beetlejuice". It was great in 1988 and still holds up.

2. "Edward Scissorhands". So that's two Tim Burton movies in a row.

3. "Practical Magic", where Sandra Bullock and Nicole Kidman play witches.

4. "Super 8" with Elle Fanning. It's like "Stranger Things" meets "E.T.".

5. "Death Becomes Her" with Meryl Streep, Goldie Hawn, and Bruce Willis.

6. "Stardust" with Michelle Pfeiffer as the head witch in charge. It's got a great supporting cast: Robert De Niro, Claire Danes, and a young Henry Cavill.

7. "The Craft" with Neve Campbell and Fairuza Balk. It's rated R though, so be careful if you have kids.

8. "Casper" with Christina Ricci. Another one of hers also made the list . . . "The Addams Family", where she plays Wednesday.

9. "Coraline". For a claymation movie that's rated PG, that one IS a little scary.

10. "What We Do in the Shadows" with Jermaine Clement from "Flight of the Conchords". Some would argue the TV show version is even better.

11. The "Twilight" movies. Can you believe the first one came out 14 years ago?

12. "The Witches" with Anjelica Huston, based on the Roald Dahl book. It came out in 1990. Anne Hathaway starred in a remake in 2020.

13. "Labyrinth" with David Bowie and Jennifer Connelly. I guarantee that one's still too scary for some kids though.

14. "Signs" with Mel Gibson and Joaquin Phoenix. It's suspenseful but not that scary.

15. "Little Shop of Horrors" with Rick Moranis and Steve Martin.

One that didn't make the list but probably should have is the original "Hocus Pocus".

Also, the 2016 "Ghostbusters" reboot got a spot, but not the original.

And "A Nightmare Before Christmas" is nowhere to be found. But is that a Halloween movie, or a Christmas movie?

When Sudoku became popular in 2006, pencil sales went up 700%. No such luck with Wordle..that's computer or phone game.

Today's Useless Fact of the Day - Sissy Spacek was her high school's homecoming queen almost a decade before she was in "Carrie". And as far as we know, no one dumped blood on her in real life.
