When I say Chicken and Waffles, what comes to mind. Might depend on where you live.

Many in Pennsylvania think, pulled, stewed chicken on plain waffles topped with gravy.

The dish first appeared as Pennsylvania Dutch cuisine and dates back to at the 1600s.

If you're from the south, it's fried chicken on waffles with syrup.

The dish became a massive late-night culinary craze in 1930s Harlem, New York, where jazz musicians leaving gig venues at 3:00 AM wanted a meal that combined late dinner with early breakfast.

Richard Riehle – best known for his role in the cult classic Office Space – has died aged 79.

You may not know the name, but i'm sure you know the face. He has over 400 credits to his name.

Besides Office Space, he was Rob Schneider's dad in Deuce Bigalow: Male Gigolo, Many TV shows like ER, NCIS, Modern Family and the West Wing. He was also on Star Trek: Next Generation.

With Halloween celebrations continuing to evolve, the classic candy debate is back: chocolate, fruity candy, sour candy, or something else entirely?

Historically, chocolate accounts for the vast majority of Halloween candy sales and dominates top-tier rankings with heavy Hitters: Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups, M&M's, Kit Kat, Snickers, and Twix.

Fruity treats make up roughly 35–40% of overall seasonal candy volume. Think Skittles, Starburst, Swedish Fish, AirHeads, and Twizzlers.

Sour and tangy candies skew heavily toward younger audiences who actively seek out the intense, tongue-puckering bite. I avoid Sour Patch Kids, Sour Punch Straws, Warheads, and Sour Skittles.

Other could be Spicy/cinnamon, retro candies, and controversial things like candy corn, circus peanuts, and black Licorice.

Cat owners who spend more time in close proximity to their pets experience more positive moods, linked to a hormonal connection in which higher feline oxytocin correlates with lower owner stress. Also, leg cramps, and what happened to my neck?? because they sleep on the bed and you can't disturb them.

A British woman marked her 99th birthday by taking part in wing-walking, a stunt that involves riding on the wing of an aircraft in flight. She reportedly became the oldest person to accomplish the feat — proof that “taking it easy at your age” isn’t everybody’s idea of a birthday celebration.

Last Wednesday, the same day the world marked 100 years since A.A. Milne’s Winnie-the-Pooh was first published, a black bear wandered into the Mammoth Lakes Library branch of the Mono County Free Libraries in California.

Director of Libraries Josef Bopp said the bear entered the library at about 6:10 a.m., hours before the public opening at 10 a.m.

Once inside, the bear went straight to the staff snack supply and ate peanut butter, peach cups, cookies, and one jar of honey.

After eating, the bear moved through the building, including the new releases area and the reference desk, then left on its own.

No damage was reported.

Residents of a small rural village fed up with speeding traffic took matters into their own hands using yarn and knitting needles. The community crafted life-sized, hand-knitted "police officers" dressed in high-visibility vests and stationed them along the main road. Local drivers report instantly hitting the brakes when they spot the fuzzy law enforcement figures standing on the sidewalk!

A new lifestyle and health study found a strong connection between regular outdoor activity and daily food choices. Participants who spent at least 20 minutes a day walking in local parks or nature preserves naturally reported higher cravings for fresh produce and lower interest in ultra-processed junk food throughout the week.
