"Just so we're clear most of the news is trash!!! They keep saying I'm turning to random people to do a new album... I will never return to the music industry!!!" Spears said.
"When I write, I write for fun or I write for other people!!! For those of you who have read my book, there's loads that you don't know about me... I've written over 20 songs for other people the past two years!!! I'm a ghostwriter and I honestly enjoy it that way!!!" she said.

One of the most common resolutions in the run-up to January 1st is swearing off drinking entirely. ‘Dry January’, as the month has been dubbed, is a time of total abstinence from alcohol.
maybe it's because there is much celebrating in December during the holidays, it's time for a little restraint.
But maybe it's a bit extreme.
That's where 'Damp January' is coming from.
is designed to support flexibility in a person’s journey towards a healthier relationship with alcohol. For some, this could be as simple as designating their alcohol consumption to a certain day or two, such as weekends only.
For others, it could be a matter of cutting back on how many beverages they consume in a single setting, perhaps stopping their tab after two beers when they head out for after-work drinks.
One more is Special Occasion drinking..like birthday parties, weddings, etc.

The price of postage is going up two cents on January 21st.
In a new poll, 39% of people said they "disapprove" of the price increase, with 21% saying they "strongly disapprove." Those people seem upset.
But when asked how much a stamp costs now, only 14% of Americans correctly answered 66 cents. 49% of people guessed prices lower than 66 cents, while 17% guessed prices higher than 66 cents.
And 19% of people didn't even guess . . . they had no clue.
Just for note, stamp costs through the years.
2014 - 49cents
2004 - 37cents
1994 - 29cents
1984 - 20cents
1974 - 10cents
1964 - 5cents

Italy is in meltdown right now after pineapple just showed up on the menu at a well-known pizza place, in the pizza capital of the world, Naples.
A highly respected, third-generation pizzeria owner named Gino Sorbillo just decided to challenge that trend by adding it as an option at his restaurant.
That said, he's not selling what we'd call a "Hawaiian pizza." His has three types of cheese . . . the pineapple is cooked twice to give it a caramelized taste . . . and the biggest difference is it's a "white pizza" with no tomato sauce.
Gino says tomatoes are a fruit, and you should never have two fruits on a pizza. It makes everything too acidic, and, quote, "wouldn't be a good product."

Kelly Clarkson finally revealed how she lost a significant amount of weight. Of course, it amounts to the classic diet and exercise.
Quote, "I eat a healthy mix. I dropped weight because I've been listening to my doctor, a couple years I didn't. And 90 percent of the time I'm really good at it because a protein diet is good for me anyway.
"I'm a Texas girl, so I like meat, sorry, vegetarians in the world!"
She is also walking more in her new home of New York City.

A 13-year-old in Oklahoma just became the first person to beat Tetris on the NES system (i know..redundant). He made it to Level 157 when the game froze. Until now, only A.I. had been able to do it. Oh, and he did it in 38 minutes. (dude..go outside..get a life.)
But is it really finished? Seems there's a glitch in the game where it eventually gets so fast that the console can't keep up and crashes.
He says his next goal is to do it again, but try to be more efficient.

Sweethearts just unveiled new conversation hearts for Valentine's Day meant specifically for "situationships" which is defined as any "romantic or sexual relationship that is not considered to be formal or established."
They look like the normal version, but the words are blurry and hard to read, just like Gen Z relationships are hard to read.
It sounds like they might even be repurposing their misprinted hearts and just tossing them in a box.
