Do we need this..just give me my TV in order..or not..don't make me choose!
Netflix's "Kaleidoscope" might seem like the average thriller series, but it has one thing that sets it apart from other heist movies and shows: the series, released Jan. 1, is eight episodes long, but it's designed to be watched in any order. Every episode is titled with a different color — a nod to the titular kaleidoscope — and starts with a title card about how far away the episode is from the heist.
Creator and showrunner Eric Garcia explained why he designed the series to be watched in any order, "I said, 'I think with all this batch delivery [of episodes on streaming] there's no reason you have to watch a show in order."

The new year is bringing in a new comet! At the end of the month, green Comet C/2022 E3 (ZTF) will be visible to the naked eye for the first time since the Neanderthal times.
The comet was discovered by researchers in March and is approximately 100 million miles away from Earth, Newsweek reports. It is expected to make its closest pass to the sun on Jan. 12 and the closest pass to Earth at the beginning of February. As it gets closer to Earth, the more likely it can be seen without binoculars or a telescope, NASA explains.

A man in Italy is trying to recover more than $20,000 in government bonds . . . after he decided to hide them up his chimney.
He was worried about burglars finding them in his apartment in Rome. So he stashed them in his chimney and didn't tell anyone, including his wife.
She decided to light a fire around Christmas, and all the bonds burned up. He says he walked in, saw the fire, and almost passed out.
Government bonds in Italy come with serial numbers. So if you have the numbers and lose the bonds, you can get them reissued.
It's not clear if he's been able to track the numbers down though.

Today's Useless Fact of the Day - There WAS a real Dr. Pepper. A pharmacist named Charles Alderton created the soda, and his boss named it after Dr. Charles T. Pepper, who he'd worked with earlier in his career.
He also may've had a relationship with Pepper's daughter.
