This weekend the big movie is Alien: Romulus. This movie takes the franchise back to its roots. The director says it is set around two decades after Alien, a timeline that would place it about 40 years before Aliens.

So if you want to binge all the movies in Chronological order, (and yes forgive the plot holes in the Alien/Predator movies,) this is your list.

Prometheus (Opening Scene And Flashbacks)(no date)

Alien Vs. Predator 2004

Aliens vs Predator: Requiem

Prometheus 2089-2093

Alien: Covenant 2104

Alien (the original) 2122

The New Alien: Romulus 2122-2179

Aliens 2179

Alien 3 2179

Alien: Resurrection 2381

Kids never think their parents are cool. But at some point, most of them grow up and realize mom and dad aren't so bad after all.

That's happening to Courteney Cox. Her 20-year-old daughter Coco is actually pretty annoyed with her . . . because she didn't save her iconic '90s wardrobe.

Coco says, quote, "Fun fact: she didn't save anything for me from the '90s. It's actually very rude. Everyone's like 'Oh those outfits.' No, I don't have them."

The house from the 1982 horror classic "Poltergeist" is for sale for the first time in 45 years. And the owners want to assure potential buyers that there are NO evil spirits.

The Zillow listing says, quote, "Yes this is the home where much of the first movie of the series was filmed but 'This house is clean'. Seriously, it is!

"Well-loved by its original owners, this charming four bedroom, two-and-a-half bathroom home is ready to welcome a new family, without the ghostly antics, we promise!"

It's listed for $1.17 million and is located in Simi Valley, California. It was built in 1979. The listing adds that fans will love to see that the "infamous kitchen" is in its original form, but with updated appliances.

Quote, "It's a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to live in a home with a story, minus the spooks."

And before you ask, that muddy pool scene at the end of the movie with REAL skeletons was allegedly filmed on a soundstage . . . and NOT in the backyard of the actual house.

(Just don't have a TV.)

TikTok's newest acne cure is intentional SUNBURNS. Kids are roasting their face to make their acne go away . . . despite the whole SKIN CANCER drawback.

The skincare company Eucerin says SOME sun exposure might help acne, because UV rays have an anti-inflammatory effect.

But too much can dry your skin out, which kicks your oil-producing glands into overdrive and ultimately makes acne worse.

Google looked at the state fair foods Americans are googling the most this year.

The top two last week were cheeseburger egg rolls and lobster corn dogs. Both are up for Best New Food at the Iowa State Fair, which runs through this weekend.

They also looked at the top "DEEP-FRIED" state fair searches from the past week . . .

The top five are: Deep-fried bubble gum . . . deep-fried butter . . . deep-fried ranch dressing . . . deep-fried beer . . . and deep-fried lemonade.

What fun foods will you find at the NYS Fair?? It runs Next Wednesday - Labor Day.

There's a new study out that suggests a key to good parenting is: Humor. That's right . . . "Dad jokes," being playful and silly, and laughing at crazy, stressful situations.

72% of parents believe humor can be an effective parenting tool . . . and most parents say they use (or plan to use) humor in parenting their own children, mostly because there's more potential benefit than harm.

Not everyone is naturally funny . . . but this isn't performing a Netflix stand-up special. 70% of parents say they would be interested in a course on how to utilize humor in parenting.

Grown adults who say THEIR parents used humor are also FAR more likely to say they now have a good relationship with their folks . . . AND that they feel like their parents did a good job raising them.

The research shows parental humor could be a secret ingredient in "fostering cognitive flexibility . . . relieving stress . . . and promoting creative problem-solving and resilience in both parents and children."
