While we had the big storm on Monday and horrible weather Tuesday, according to the National Weather Service office in Mount Holly, New Jersey, Philadelphia International Airport had the highest temperature and the greatest snowfall measure for Sunday July 14th.  Well, sort of.

In a social media post, the NWS explained that thunderstorms passed over PHL on Sunday and produced small hail. "Since hail is frozen precipitation, this counts as a 'trace' of snow in our climate reports," the post said.

So even though it was just a "trace" of snow, Philadelphia did actually set a snowfall record for July 14, breaking its old record of a whopping zero inches recorded in 1870.

Yesterday was National Hot Dog Day and a recent poll showed that most people have relatively classic tastes when it comes to toppings. 73% of Americans like mustard on hot dogs. Ketchup is next at 62%. Then onions, relish, and chili all got at least 50%.

Ball Park brand hot dogs is "celebrating freedom of expression" by challenging hot dog lovers to post their unique hot dog topping mashups for a chance to win $2,500.

To enter, post your hot dog-topping combos on TikTok using #HotDogHotTakes and tagging @BallParkBrand. The videos have to be 60 seconds or less . . . and the contest runs through August 17th.

96% of Americans say people should be free to put whatever condiments they want on hot dogs.  82% say there's no wrong way to dress a hot dog.  And 41% enjoy non-traditional condiments . . . like BBQ sauce, ranch dressing, sriracha, and "savory jam."

Googleing crazy hot dog toppings gave us these.

1.  Doritos, pulled pork, BBQ sauce, and bacon.

2.  Jalapeno cream cheese and black bean salsa.

3.  Fried egg, arugula, guacamole, and garlic aioli.

4.  Pesto and caramelized onions.

5.  Caramel popcorn.

6.  Mashed potatoes, gravy, and onions.

7.  Celery and blue cheese.

8.  Cheese, marinara, basil, and pepperoni.

At a county fair i've had bacon wrapped hot dogs with Mac-n-Cheese.

Things you should never store in the garage...for some of you, that means the car...because you have way to much stuff in there!!!

The main reason is that your garage isn't temerpature controlled and can trigger unpredictable changes in heat and humidity.

Paint - if it gets to hot it can change the consistency making it useless.

Firewood - attrracts bugs and pests.

Pet Food - can attract critters.

Wooden Furniture

Refrigerators - works overtime

Propane Tanks

Canned Food

Sleeping Bags - pests and humidity and moisture cause mold

A child in Canada dropped a postcard to her grandma into a mailbox . . . but forgot to add the stamp.  She was at a camp at the time, and one of the workers helped her put a sign on the mailbox, alerting the mailperson.  And they even included a stamp with it.

The mailperson saw the sign . . . spent some time digging through all the mail to find the postcard . . . and put the stamp on it for the girl.

Today's Useless Fact of the Day - Stella Artois has the oldest logo in the world.  It's been used since the brewery was founded in Belgium in 1366.  Twinings Tea is the second-oldest logo.
