BTS is NOT going on a hiatus, despite the way band members made it seem ... the group's management team says the "hiatus" description was a simple mistranslation.

While the K-Pop singers are still going to pursue some solo projects, the band's Korean representation says the super popular group is not breaking up.

BTS caused an uproar Tuesday when band members put out a video in Korean talking about the group's future, with the English subtitle translation stating they were taking a "hiatus."

HYBE, the music company that reps BTS, reportedly lost $1.7 BILLION in market value during stock trading early Wednesday morning ... and now they are in a full-on backpedal over the "hiatus" comment.

The band's reps put out a statement, saying ... "To be clear, they are not on hiatus but will take time to explore some solo projects at this time and remain active in various different formats."

BTS singer Jungkook also promised the band would continue shooting their 'Run BTS' web series and would get back together to make music in the future after working on their solo careers.

(isn't that a hiatus????)

A new poll looked at our favorite types of AIR to breathe. For example, "mountain air" ranked #1.

Here are the ten "best kinds of air in the world," according to the survey

1. Mountain air.

2. Air at the beach.

3. In the woods.

4. The air you breathe while you're on a hike.

5. The air at home. So the smell of our own place is something we enjoy.

6. Amusement park air. Think corn dogs and funnel cakes.

7. Campfire smoke. According to the EPA, it's even worse for you than cigarettes.

8. Library air.

9. The recirculated air on planes.

10. The smell of a concert.

Check out this senior prank, and a pretty good one . . .

There's supposedly an old law still on the books in Montana: If any student shows up to school on a HORSE, the principal has to take care of it all day.

So at a high school in northern Montana this week, twelve students all rode horses to school on the same day.

The principal's name is Raymond DeBruycker. Whoever posted the photo joked that he obviously had his work cut out for him that day.

Two kids at another school in Montana actually did the same thing last year, and several kids did it in 2016 too.

It's not actually clear if the law really exists, by the way. People who looked into it couldn't find anything. But a lot of schools in Montana had stables and hitching posts well into the 20th century. And a few still had them in the 1960s.

Someone polled over 1,000 Americans ahead of summer and found that Dad Bods are still trendy . . . and SEXY even.

70% of women . . . and 49% of men . . . are fans of the dad bod. Three-quarters of people defined it as a guy who's still somewhat fit, but with a little extra padding.

49% overall said dad bods are sexy. And just under half of those people would prefer a dad bod over a guy who's all muscle.

If that's what YOU'RE into, good news. There might be more dad bods out there than ever. 31% of men who have one said they developed it during the pandemic.
