Keifer Sutherland says sorry...about the Mullet.

Lost Boys director Joel Schumacher, wanted the vampires to have a long-haired rock and roll look and Kiefer had the bright idea to add something to it.

Quote, "I thought Billy Idol was really cool. His hair was all spiky and kind of punk up top, so I got that haircut and left enough in the back so I could tell Joel I left it long.

"And I think kind of accidentally might have been part of a movement that created one of the worst hairstyles of all time, the mullet."

Two college students in Vancouver, British Columbia just launched a new product on Kickstarter . . . a dog bed for PEOPLE.

It's called "The Plufl" and it looks just like a dog bed, but bigger.

The two guys behind it say they're both big nappers. One of them recently saw a custom bed that a friend made for their Great Dane, and realized it was almost big enough for a person to sleep on.

They're described as dog beds made to human standards, with memory foam and an ultra-soft, fake fur cover. These things are NOT cheap though.

You can pre-order one through Kickstarter for $350. And they eventually plan to sell them for $500. (You could buy a pretty good REAL mattress for that much.)

It seems like plenty of people are interested though. They were hoping to raise $25,000 to launch the business, and they've already raised over a hundred grand.

They say their first orders should ship in November, so just in time for Christmas.

A new study found half of us engage in at least one form of road rage. But one group of people is even more likely to do it . . . PARENTS.

53% of people with kids under 18 have road rage, compared to 46% of people without kids. And even for people with kids over 18, it's 49%.

56% of Americans think that driving angry is justified, at least sometimes. Men were more likely to agree than women, and people in western states are the most likely to agree with that.

Here are the top road rage things we're most likely to do . . .

1. Shouting, or laying on your horn? 25% have done it in the past two years.

2. A criticizing or threatening gesture, like giving someone the finger? 24%.

3. Tailgating someone on purpose, or just to annoy them? 12%.

4. Cutting someone off, or blocking them from merging? Also 12%.

5. CHASING another driver, 5% have done it in the past two years.

6. Getting out of your car to confront someone. Also 5%.

Super long fingernails have had their moments throughout the years. They're a major trend once again . . . and celebrities like Cardi B and Billie Eilish are onboard. But they can also be very UNHYGIENIC.

A biology professor at American University says that the area under the fingernail hosts a LOT of bacteria . . . and the longer the nail, the more surface area there is for microorganisms to settle in.

Studies have discovered 32 different bacteria and 28 different fungi underneath fingernails.

Interestingly enough, it doesn't matter if the long nails are real or fake . . . and it doesn't matter if they're painted. The issue is that they're an extension of your hands . . . and they're very difficult to "decontaminate" with handwashing.

That said, the solution is NOT chewing your nails down to the nubs. The microorganisms live under shorter nails as well . . . and you can transmit that bacteria to your system by scratching, nail-biting, nose-picking, and finger-sucking.

"The New York Post" just did a story on tech things you should set up now to protect your "digital legacy." Or in other words, in case you DIE.

A lot of our life is online and password protected now. So the point is to make sure your loved ones can access it all . . . or CAN'T access it, depending on what it is.

Here are the three things they say you should set up immediately . . .

1. A "Legacy Contact" on your Apple account. Apple added a feature last year that lets other people access everything in your Apple account if you die, including photos, messages, and notes. Just go to "Password & Security" in your iPhone settings.

2. Your "Memorialization Settings" on Facebook. They let you name a legacy contact who can write posts for you, update your profile pic, and get a copy of everything you've ever posted.

3. Automatically wipe your Google history. This one's for stuff you might NOT want loved ones to see. In your Google account's "Web & App Activity" settings, there's an option to auto-delete stuff every three months.

Installing a URINAL at home. Yes or No?

If you didn't know, it's a thing, mostly in custom homes. You may have seen them in a vacation rental, or on one of the HGTV shows. They even sell residential urinals at Home Depot.

So, would YOU want one?

In a new poll, 82% of people say NO . . . 8% say YES . . . and 10% "don't know."

Not surprisingly, there's a big divide between men and women. 14% of men WOULD want a urinal, while just 2% of women are into the idea. 73% of men would pass, while a whopping 91% of women are a solid NO.

Overall, the idea is more popular among people UNDER the age of 50. Older folks are not into the concept.

Today's Useless Fact of the Day - The flag that the Apollo 11 astronauts planted on the moon came from Sears. A NASA employee bought it off the shelf for $5.50 right before the mission.
