A recent study found it's not your fault if your mother-in-law HATES you.
Researchers found men and women both tend to have more conflict with their mother-in-law than they do with their own mother. And they think it has to do with something called "genetic conflict," especially when kids are involved.
Basically, we all unconsciously want to protect our core family members. And when you've got kids, your in-laws are genetically tied to them too. So you're more likely to clash because of it. They found that spending habits are a big pressure point too.
Women clash with their mother-in-law a little more than men. But they say the average father-in-law clashes with their son-in-law LESS than they do with their own daughter.

Important news in the world of science: Astronomers say that PROBING URANUS should be a top priority. And they want NASA to stop putting it off and go for it already.
We still haven't studied Uranus in depth. So they want to create something called the "Uranus Orbiter and Probe" that would orbit around it, and then drop a probe deep into Uranus's atmosphere.
They say it could unlock all sorts of secrets hidden by the clouds covering Uranus. For example, we still don't know exactly what Uranus is made of.
Unfortunately, it won't happen quickly and could take a while. If they get started now, they say we could be probing Uranus in about ten years.

A little kid near Minneapolis got lost last week, but was able to call 911 . . . after stumbling upon a payphone that actually still worked.
A guy named Brian Davis lives in Andover, Minnesota. And just for fun, he decided to install his own working payphone on his front lawn last year. That's the phone the kid found. Brian says he was amazed a child could even figure out how to use it.

If you knew the world was going to END in the next 10 years, what would you change about how you live your life?
5,000 Americans were asked what they'd prioritize, and they could choose one of these four options: Spend more time with loved ones . . . have as much fun as possible . . . try to SAVE humanity . . . or just keep doin' what you're doin'.
More time with loved ones was the top answer by far with 52% of the vote. But 16% would have as much fun as possible . . . 10% would try to save the world . . . and 8% wouldn't change anything. The remaining 14% said "something else" or "not sure."
Women were more likely to prioritize family, while men were more likely to choose fun. And the younger you are, the more likely you are to say you'd live it up.
23% of people under 30 would just have as much fun as possible. Only 7% of people over 65 said the same.

Today's Useless Fact of the Day - You read 25% slower on a computer screen than you do on paper.
Despite the slower reading times, Nielsen found that users preferred reading books on a tablet device compared to the paper book. The PC monitor, meanwhile, was universally hated as a reading platform among all test subjects.
