Social media apps are on a lot of phones these days, but some tend towards a younger audience and others an older. Some are common across the population. The Pew Research Center did some research, and found that 84% of 18-29 year olds said they used at least one social media site. 30-39 Year olds 81%, 50-64 73% and only 45% of 65 and olders use one.

YouTube leads in all but the 65+ which is Facebook which is only 3rd among 18-29 year olds with Instagram second.

Not surprising Pinterast is high in older demos.

Saw this on the WENY-TV site - The organizers of Elmira's annual Memorial Day parade are looking for community groups and organizations to participate this year.

The annual parade will be held on Monday, May 30th at 9:30AM. Community groups, youth organizations, marching bands, and other groups are invited to participate.

Sign up for this year's parade has been slow, and organizer Larry Sherman wants to encourage people to take part.

For information on being part of the parade, check out the full article.

Can alcohol actually be good for you in small amounts? It seems like the answer to this flip-flops every other year. But this supposedly puts an end to it.

An extensive new study at Harvard and M.I.T. found the answer is . . . NO. Drinking ANY amount of alcohol is bad for you, specifically your heart and cardiovascular system. That even includes the occasional glass of wine.

So why have other studies found moderate drinking can be good? They say it's because people who drink in moderation are more likely to have other HEALTHY habits, even more so than people who don't drink at all. They eat more vegetables, get more exercise, and are less likely to smoke.

They looked at medical records of over 370,000 adults. And when you control for those habits, there's no evidence alcohol has any health benefits.

A shopping mall's Easter Bunny actor got TASED by police in Illinois the other day. Luckily, he was NOT in costume when it happened, so any kids who were there weren't too traumatized.

It happened last Thursday night at St. Clair Square Mall in Fairview Heights, Illinois, and there aren't a ton of details yet. (Fairview Heights is in southwestern Illinois, just outside St. Louis.)

Police say he was dressed as the Easter Bunny earlier in the day, but had changed out of his costume.

They haven't said what led up to it, but he assaulted a female cop around 7:00 P.M., and then started running through the mall.

Cops ended up having to tase him to get him into custody. It sounds like he could face felony charges for assaulting an officer.

No word yet from the mall, or the company they work with for their Easter Bunny meet-and-greets. So it's not clear if they've found a replacement bunny yet.

Olive oil is actually "juice." Technically, FRUIT JUICE since olives are a fruit.
