A new study found your co-workers might actually like to hear your thoughts on how bad they are at their job as long as it's "constructive" criticism.

It found most people are more receptive to feedback than you think but we usually don't say anything, because we don't like confrontation, and don't want to seem rude.

If it's something major, we're even less likely to speak up, but we even let dumb stuff slide. For example, less than 3% of people in the study told a researcher they had a smudge on their face, even though it was clearly visible.

With work feedback, they say there's an easy way to decide if you should speak up. Just ask yourself, "Would I want them to be honest with me if the roles were reversed?"

So much for "no pain, no gain." The hot new trend at gyms is . . . making sure you're relaxed and not breaking a sweat. A new report found gyms are offering more mellow workout classes as the pandemic eases.

They're seeing more demand for gentle workouts, things like guided meditation and easy yoga, and more gyms are adding dedicated "recovery" rooms too, with things like loungers and personal massagers. One guy who's in a stretching class said he just lies on a mat with a pillow for an hour and compared it to nap time in preschool.

It's partly because we're all out of shape after two years on the couch, so people are taking it slow. But it's also because the pandemic shifted our priorities. We're less worried about looking good, and more concerned with feeling good.

Buzzfeed just conducted a major poll on bread, and tens of thousands of people weighed in.

1. What kind of bread is the best? Sourdough is #1 with 38%, getting more than 30,000 votes. White bread is second at 33%. Wheat bread (16%) is next, followed by Cinnamon Raisin (6%), Rye (5%), and Pumpernickel (2%).

2. When you're at a restaurant, do you fill up on bread? 60% said yes, while 40% said no, they mostly hold off to save room for the actual meal.

3. Are you into toast? A whopping 93% said yes, while just 7% said no.

4. Are you into putting butter on your bread? 87% said yes, 13% said no.

5. Do you like bread crust? 74% said yes. 26% said no.

The cargo ship that inspired 1 million memes, the Ever Given, created a new form of entertainment last year when it got stuck in the Suez Canal. Now, all eyes are on the Ever Forward, its sister ship, which has been lodged in Chesapeake Bay for exactly one month as of today.

The latest: Two attempts to dislodge the 1,095-foot vessel have failed so far, and a third is underway. Tug boats are currently removing 500 of the 4,900 shipping containers stacked on the ship to lighten its load for refloating.

But until the Ever Forward is merrily on its way again, viewing the ship has turned into somewhat of a tourist attraction for Maryland residents, who obsess over anything old on bays.

It’s okay to laugh. Unlike the Ever Given, the Ever Forward ain’t bothering nobody. The Maryland Port Administration said the stuck ship isn’t affecting transit (unlike the Suez Canal, Chesapeake Bay is big enough for other vessels to simply go around), and Coast Guard Captain David O’Connell said it’s not polluting the waters.

New generations are always coming up with new slang, and it seems like once the adults start catching on, the terms are no longer cool, and the kids have moved on to something else.

One website put together a list of 21 slang terms that are outdated but were supposedly good enough that they "need to make a comeback." Here are they are:

On fleek . . . buggin' . . . trippin' . . . illin' . . . word . . . poppin' . . . bomb . . . flava . . . fresh . . . turn up . . . boo . . . fly . . . no doubt . . . tight . . . frontin' . . .

Words ending in "-eezy" . . . playa hater . . . steelo . . . dope . . . swag . . . and YOLO, which of course is "You Only Live Once."

St. Patrick's Day. School Picture Day. They used a green screen...oops!

Today's Useless Fact of the Day - There are only two countries in the world without mosquitoes, and both are roughly in the same part of the world: Iceland and the Faroe Islands. It's a bit of a mystery why . . . but it might be because the climate in both is too variable and harsh for mosquitoes.
