Dyngus Day - also known as Wet Easter Monday, is a Polish holiday popular in Poland, Ukraine, and in Polish communities in the United States.
The day is most associated with water and pussy willows. Males throw water on females and gently hit them with pussy willow branches. Males many times climb on the roof of buildings and hit a tin pan to announce which girls will be soaked. They often sneak into homes and pour water on females while they are still in bed. Sometimes the girls are then taken to a nearby pond or river and thrown in. Occasionally they are even carried out on their beds and the whole beds are thrown in. Girls are able to stop themselves from getting doused by giving boys a ransom of painted eggs. According to tradition, girls are able to take revenge on Tuesday. But, there usually is no waiting, and girls pour water back on boys and whip them with pussy willow branches on the same day.

Taylor Swift and Joe Alwyn have reportedly called it quits. Entertainment Tonight broke the news on April 8, revealing that a source told the outlet that Swift and Alwyn split "a few weeks ago." People later confirmed the breakup.
Entertainment Tonight's source added that the breakup "was not dramatic" and "the relationship had just run its course," noting that their separation is "why [Alwyn] hasn't been spotted at any shows" on Swift's Eras Tour. Reps for Alwyn did not immediately respond to POPSUGAR's request for comment. POPSUGAR was unable to reach reps for Swift.

Two women who were fired from Kanye West's Donda Academy are suing for wrongful termination and racial discrimination. They're both black, and say they were the only black female teachers at the school.
In their lawsuit, the woman claim they were fired for speaking up about numerous health and safety violations. Their concerns included:
1. Kids only received one meal per day, and it was always sushi. They were prohibited from bringing any food or drink into the school except water.
2. Kids weren't allowed to use forks or other utensils.
3. No classes on the second floor because Kanye is afraid of stairs.
4. Chairs were not allowed, so kids had to either stand, or sit on cushions on the floor. Teachers could either stand or use a stool.
5. Everyone had to wear black from head to toe, and no Nike or Adidas. Also no jewelry, because Kanye doesn't like it.
6. Crossword puzzles and "coloring sheets" were not allowed.
7. Kids were never allowed to go outside, not even for recess.
8. During the day, doors were locked from the outside, which is a fire hazard.
9. The school did not have a janitor or nurse, and kids' medications were kept in a closet.
10. There were no lesson plans or proper disciplinary procedures, and multiple incidents of bullying and physical assaults against students and teachers went unpunished.

Cops in Minnesota pulled someone over recently, and the driver handed them their driver's license and a "Get Out of Jail Free" card.
And that's not a euphemism, it was an actual, orange "Get Out of Jail Free" Chance card from "Monopoly". It looked worn . . . so the person probably had it in their wallet for a while, just waiting to do this.
It's unclear what the person got pulled over for . . . but it doesn't sound like it worked. The police shared a photo of it on Facebook and said, "Unfortunately the state of Minnesota does not recognize this as a valid document. Points for the effort and humor though!"
It's possible that the driver just got a ticket and was allowed to proceed but then landed on Boardwalk with a hotel.

Starbucks just launched a new site that's supposed to help you order the perfect drink based on your Zodiac Sign.
They partnered with an app for horoscopes and psychics called Sanctuary.
First, you choose your zodiac sign, ok...Scorpio. Then you say whether you plan to drink it in the morning or afternoon because that matters apparently.
It eventually tells you what your ideal drink is, and there's a link so can order it online. If you believe in astrology stuff, you might find it useful.
There's also a decent chance they're just trying to push people toward their pricier beverages. It seems like that's what most of the suggestions are.
My suggestion is - Cinnamon Caramel Cream Nitro Cold Brew. Find yours at https://starbucksstarsigns.com/

Today's Useless Fact of the Day - Slot machines show fruit symbols because when they debuted in the late 1800s, some of the prizes really WERE those fruits. By giving away fruit instead of money, companies avoided breaking gambling laws.
