When you think of taking a day off, you usually think of a Friday or Monday for a three day weekend. You should strongly consider taking Wednesday off of work. A professor at the University of Texas who focuses on time and communication found that it is the best day of the week to take off.

Here's why. We all get into a routine of five days of work, then the two-day weekend. When we take a Wednesday off, we go: Two days of work, day off, two days of work, two days off.

When we break up our rhythm like that, it breaks us out of our routines. You should feel less stressed and overwhelmed at work because you're not staring down yet another five-day week.

You should also feel more excited about your time off because it's such a non-traditional day off . . . almost like having a snow day as a kid.

Plus, Wednesdays are a good day off because everything you might do is less crowded, from movies to amusement parks to restaurants.

Rick Ross, Rapper, Record executive and former athlete, has some unusual pets at his estate in Fayetteville, Georgia.

Over the weekend, one of Rick's neighbors complained that two of his BISON wandered onto her property. And she was worried they might pose a danger to her small children.

Well, Rick posted a video thanking his neighbors and his team for making sure they were safely returned to his property.

And he said quote, "Any time you see one of our buffalos, please give it a carrot. They're very peaceful. They're just grazers, they're not meat eaters."

Remember back in 2019, when you were striving to get 10,000 steps per day . . . and then the pandemic happened, and your steps-per-day dropped to, like, 12?

Well, we're back out there again . . . but according to a new study, we aren't walking quite as much as before. On average, we're talking about 600 fewer steps per day than before the pandemic began.

And it's younger people between 18 and 30 whose step counts were most impacted. 600 steps may not seem like a big deal, but over time a more sedentary lifestyle can raise the risk of cardiovascular disease and obesity.

Is carbonated water good for you?? Not all carbonated water concoctions are healthy. Soda is carbonated water after all, but adulterated with high-fructose corn syrup, brominated vegetable oil, often caffeine, and either caramel coloring or, in the case of orange soda, yellow 6 and red 40.

Pure, plain carbonated water is the best. Plus it could help you stay hydrated, and maybe help you enjoy drinking water. You can always add a squeeze a lemon or add fresh or frozen fruit slices.

Be careful with it if you suffer from IBS though as it could cause bloating and other issues.

Also, watch the artificial sweeteners that could cause a wait gain.

The carbonation could erode your teeth like sodas do and cause more cavities..it will take longer but it's the same idea.

Someone pooped in the aisle where Hillary and Chelsea Clinton attended the Broadway show "Some Like It Hot" at the Schubert Theater on Broadway last week/ And it may be the work of a serial pooper.

A source spoke with the manager who said this was the FOURTH time it's happened. So, either someone is litterally pooping in the aisle or they're dumping poop they smuggled into the theater.

But another source claims it was just an unfortunate accident suffered by an elderly person.

Whatever the case, the staff cleaned it up, and the show went on as scheduled . . . and Hilary and Chelsea stayed for the rest of the show.

I hope it wasn't a review.

One way to reduce the risk of heart disease: Eat more nuts and seeds, according to a new review of 60 studies.

Scandinavian researchers found that eating nuts could reduce the risk of a heart attack.

"If you eat a handful of nuts every day, that is around 30 grams, you will have a 20% to 25% lower risk of suffering from cardiovascular disease. In comparison, adults in the Nordic countries only eat on average around 4 grams of nuts a day. Many do not eat nuts or seeds at all," said study co-author Erik Arnesen, research fellow at the University of Oslo.

Almonds, pistachios and walnuts appeared to be the best for lowering cholesterol.
