A new survey finds: The average person forgets something about six times a week which translates to about 332 forgetful moments each year.
56% of folks consider themselves forgetful, with 66% saying things have gotten worse over the past decade.

CareerBuilder surveyed a bunch of managers to find some of the weirdest excuses people have used for being late for work.
• There was a stranger sleeping in my car.
• I was drunk and forgot which Waffle House I parked my car next to.
• I passed out after getting 10 vials of blood drawn.
• Lost my bra somewhere in my room.

More than a quarter of Americans lie about flossing their teeth, and 36 percent say they would rather do an unpleasant activity like cleaning the toilet.

A little rudeness can go a long way in the fight to curb jaywalkers. Experiments conducted by students at a university in China showed that warning signs written with insulting messages had greater impact than those with nicer messages.
A sign reading “Jaywalkers are ugly” placed at an intersection proved to be the most effective, reducing cases of jaywalking by about 40 percent.

Spring is Sunday and it will soon be time for warmer temperatures and then too hot. The average American says 69 degrees is the perfect indoor temperature. But that doesn’t mean we’re turning our AC on immediately once it warms up — as results of a survey showed it’s not an action we take lightly. According to the survey, Americans will torture themselves through five sleepless, sweaty, excruciating nights before finally turning on their AC. Fifty-five percent of respondents said they feel “defeated” when they finally have to turn their AC on.
