Having a personal, unique signature used to be a THING, but people don't seem to care about it anymore. We don't need to sign things as often as we used to . . . and when we do, it's usually on a DIGITAL pad, and it doesn't come out looking right anyway. But that might be changing.
There's apparently a new trend of people getting SIGNATURE MAKEOVERS . . . by HIRING someone to help them improve it.
Multiple people are promoting signature design services on social media . . . and the prices are all over the map, from $10 to $600.
One woman in L.A. has a business called Planet of Names where she does around 300 custom signatures a month. The packages include stuff like: Up to three ways to sign . . . limitless drafts . . . or a new set of initials.
She charges between $10 to $55. And you can choose a style . . . "elegant, subtle, dramatic, sharp, classic, artistic, condensed, curvy, or even illegible." And you can also get coached on how to PRACTICE your new signature.
Her company has had some high-profile clients . . . people whose autographs ARE still a big deal . . . but she wouldn't say who. She also works with regular people who are sick of signing their name like a fifth grader.
One thing to note: Drastically changing your signature CAN be a headache though. For things like voter rolls, passports, credit cards, health documents, and legal papers, you may need to update your signature on file.

A man in Ohio was busted a couple of weeks ago, after he allegedly stole about $500 worth of merchandise from a Giant Eagle supermarket.
And he MIGHT have gotten away with it, but his getaway driver decided to take the car next door to get a CAR WASH while the theft was happening, and it took longer than expected.
The thief pushed the cart full of stuff over to the car wash . . . but they were basically trapped in the line between two other cars.
In the meantime, the store had called the cops . . . and they nabbed the guys while they were still at the car wash. One was charged with theft, and the other was arrested on an outstanding warrant. It's unclear if the car ever got washed.

Cops pulled over an ice cream truck on Monday in Slidell, Louisiana, just outside New Orleans. The name on the side said "Tami's Ice Cream & Sweet Treats."
The 42-year-old owner, Tamisha Morin, was behind the wheel. They pulled her over because the truck had expired tags and no brake lights.
But that's the least of her worries . . . because it looks like those "sweet treats" she was selling were actually DRUGS.
When they searched her freezer, they found some melted ice cream and a bunch of METH. Thankfully, they don't think she was selling it to kids, just adults.
She's facing charges for possession of narcotics, and it turned out she had an outstanding warrant as well. They also gave her a ticket for the brake lights and expired tag.

A lot of zombie and zombie-adjacent shows are too cool for the "Z" word. You know, like how on "The Walking Dead" they're called walkers.
The same is true for "The Last of Us", where the creatures are called "The Infected". Although in this case, it's actually accurate, because they're not zombies . . . they're people with a fungal infection.
Anyway, the show's cinematographer recently claimed that the word "zombie" was actually banned on the set. But it's not true.
Producer Craig Mazin says, quote, "We call them zombies all the time because it's funny."

Here's how many times you can wear different types of clothing without washing them, according to experts. They're basing this on the smell . . . but more than that, on the bacteria that can form and what it can do to you.
Pajamas: Once a week if you shower before bed. Daily if you don't shower first.
Coats and jackets: Once a month.
Jeans: Once a month.
Underwear: Once a month if you sell it to perverts on the Internet. For the rest of us . . . yeah, don't re-wear your underwear.
Socks: After wearing them once.
Workout clothes: After wearing them once.
Shirts: After wearing them once if they had direct skin contact. You can go a little longer if you're wearing them over another shirt.
