Valentine’s day 2046 could have quite the attraction, according to a risk list that is managed by the European Space Agency’s Near Earth Objects Coordination Center. That’s because a newly discovered asteroid has a small chance of colliding with Earth that day. The asteroid, 2023DW, has a 1-in-625 chance of impacting our planet.

While that doesn’t seem likely, astronomers consider it a relativity high risk of impact. But there is a lot we don’t know about this newly discovered asteroid – like a more precise measurement of its size. Astronomers believe the asteroid is around the size of an Olympic pool, roughly 50 meters (164 feet) long. If an asteroid that size collided with Earth, it would cause some damage.

But what we should take away from this story is a new way to measure things from the headline in the Jerusalem Post - New asteroid the size of 27 pandas could hit the earth.

The City of Glendale is planning to change its name this week to welcome pop star Taylor Swift as she kicks off her national tour at State Farm Stadium.

The symbolic name will only remain in effect until March 18.

The city said it wanted to do "something highly unusual" to celebrate Swift's decision to launch her tour in Arizona.

Vinyl albums outsold CDs last year for the first time since 1987, according to the Recording Industry Association of America's year-end report.

It marked the 16th consecutive year of growth in vinyl, with 41 million albums sold — compared to 33 million CDs.

Streaming is still the biggest driver of the music industry's growth, making up 84% of recorded-music revenue, but physical music formats saw a remarkable resurgence in the past couple of years.
