Of the 61 companies in Britain that piloted a four-day workweek, nine out of 10 are continuing the shorter week and three in 10 have said they're making it permanent, according to an advocacy group's study. The shorter week didn't hurt revenue and it made employees much happier, with more reporting they were satisfied with their job and felt less burnout and stress.

The subscriber economy keeps growing. The average American has about seven subscriptions for everything from streaming services to produce to toilet paper. Now restaurants are getting in on the action, lured by the prospect of steady revenue from regulars who can't resist perks like unlimited drinks and free delivery.
Nicknamed Pay-Per-Chew, which is really an extension of reward points are being tested in resturants around the country.

Paul Rudd seems like a nice guy. But you should know that he does NOT want to take pictures with your kids. At least not your really young kids who don't even know what's going on.
He says, quote, "I always think, 'This poor kid. This kid doesn't want to take a picture with me. Not only does he have no clue who I am, even if he did, he'd clearly [rather be doing something else].'
"Just let him go. So my heart goes out to the kids that get kind of pushed into taking pictures with me."

We head to the Kelly Clarkson Show and Ashton Kutcher, the former "That '70s Show" star confessed that he occasionally puts a "splash" of orange juice in his coffee in place of creamer.
"Wait, what?" Clarkson replied.
Kutcher explained his reasons behind the unusual choice.
"I’m not big on creamers. I don’t like creamers. I usually drink black coffee. That is my go-to: black coffee," he said on "The Kelly Clarkson Show." "But, occasionally, I like light roast black coffee, and one of the things about light roast black coffee is that it has citrus notes in it. ... It’s the acidity that sort of gives it a brightness when you’re drinking coffee."
One way to replicate those citrus notes in medium roast coffee, he said, is with good ol' OJ.
"I'm gonna try this," Clarkson replied.
Kutcher emphasized he doesn't fill his coffee with orange juice.
"Just a splash," he said. "Don’t go overboard. If you go overboard, it gets all sorts of not fun."

There are jobs that must be done in-person . . . jobs that can be remote . . . and apparently, jobs that can be done on a smartphone.
There's a new report out that talked to people about how there's apps for everything, and it asked people what they've done ENTIRELY on their phone.
51% of people have done a full grocery run through their phone.
51% have taken photos of a special occasion on their phone, like a wedding.
47% have shopped for clothing.
46% have completed a full day's work.
42% have worked through and filed a tax return.
39% have completed a homework assignment.
38% have read a book or a full magazine.
22% have done some kind of dictation / transcription only using their phone.

Everyone has people they text back immediately . . . and people where it takes a little longer.
There's a new study out of the U.K. that claims couples take longer to text each other back . . . the longer they've been together.
They found that the average response time for newly dating couples was 16 minutes and 50 seconds. They also send each other 15 messages every day, plus seven social media posts.
But just two years into a relationship, the average response time slumps to 24 minutes . . . with 12 messages every day, and six social media posts.

Today's Useless Fact of the Day - There's a statue at Harvard University that says "John Harvard, Founder, 1638." All of that's wrong. John Harvard was a benefactor, not the founder. Harvard was founded in 1636, by a vote by the Great and General Court of the Massachusetts Bay Colony. And the statue is actually of a man named Sherman Hoar. He had sat as a model for the head.
The statue is nicknamed the Statue of Three Lies.
Every day, students rub his toe on their way to class, hoping that it will give them luck on their next hard exam.
