What could be better than seeing Creed in concert?  Could it be seeing Creed AND Nickelback?

If that sounds like your dream come true, you'll need to head over to East Troy, Wisconsin.  They'll be co-headlining the two-day Summer of '99 and Beyond Festival on July 18th and 19th.

The lineup also includes Live, Daughtry, 3 Doors Down, Lit, Our Lady Peace, Tonic, Hinder, Sevendust, Vertical Horizon, Fuel, and Mammoth WVH.

Have you heard about "Doug's Winter Party"?  An 87-year-old man in Pennsylvania named Doug went viral, when he went to a neighbor's house to give her a hand-written invitation to a neighborhood party at his home.

She thought it was sweet, and shared it online.  It went viral, and people ALL OVER the internet were sending snacks and drinks to Doug for his party, which happened this past Saturday.  Doug said it would go on, "until the cops arrive."

Doug and the neighbor recorded some stuff live from the party, and then they went on the "Today" show to talk about how they think people just latched onto the neighborly wholesomeness of it.  Oh, and the cops never showed up.

A new poll asked people what their ideal workweek would be.

26% said the typical set-up:  Five 8-hour workdays.

40% said they'd like an extra day off, so:  Four 10-hour days.

15% said they'd like two extra days off, and could do:  Three 13-hour days.

13% said they'd like SHORTER shifts, so:  Six 6-hour days.  (That's not 40 hours.  It might have to be six 6-hour, 40-minute workdays.)

There were a few people who wanted to go more extreme:

2% of people said they'd prefer to do two 20-hour workdays.  And another 4% would want to do just ONE shift . . . working 40 hours straight.

Some guy is going viral for how his morning went from bad to horrific in 60 seconds.  He said he had a late night, and needed to get up early, so he was exhausted when his alarm went off at 8:00 A.M.

He fumbled with his phone trying to snooze the alarm.  And in the process, he hit the power button five times, which set off an "Emergency SOS" call on his Google Pixel.  So his usual alarm turned into a BLARING SIREN sound.

He said, "I saw the notifications for 'calling 911,' and stuff about sending location and whatever else to emergency contacts.  And I'm thinking, '[Oh no,] emergency services are going to come, and my friends will get scared.'"

He canceled everything . . . but then started getting texts from his friends.

They were saying he'd sent them photos and video. . . from his bed.  There's a "feature" on his phone that sends images when an emergency is triggered.

The problem was:  He was sleeping naked.  So, 12 emergency contacts were sent images of him NUDE . . . including his junk.

AskReddit people are talking about things people underestimate . . . but are actually very hard to do well.

Driving . . . Everything about it:  Defensive driving, maneuvering in traffic, having a "feel" for how big your vehicle is, being "predictable," and parking.

Substitute teaching.

Home cooking, and creating a new recipe.

Making a sandwich . . . A toddler can make one, but seriously, toddler-made sandwiches are disgusting.

Starting and running a business . . . especially in the food industry.

Fast food register worker, and even more-so for drive-thru . . . Someone said, "Have you ever been served by somebody who is actually good at it?  It'll reinstall your faith in humanity."

Being able to give good instructions . . . Like a new task at work, a project at home, how to get somewhere, or how to help with something.

Anything that involves dealing with a random bunch of people.

Dancing.

Singing.

Public speaking.

Photography . . . Especially over the past decade, as smartphone cameras have made a lot of people feel like pro photographers.

Bagging groceries.

"Casual" sports like golf and bowling.

Hacky-sack.

See the thread here

This may or may not have happened.

There's a report online claiming that a young woman was arrested after she got caught filling up her ex-boyfriend's gas tank with Coke Zero . . . and "pre-sucked Skittles."

First, how did they know they were pre sucked, second the mug shot is questionable, there's no name, location or any info from a police department.

And what do you expect from Skittles and Coke...it's mentos that have the reaction.

KFC is leaving Kentucky.

The fried chicken chain’s U.S. headquarters will move from Louisville, Kentucky, to Plano, Texas, owner Yum Brands said Tuesday.

The relocation is part of Yum’s broader plan to have two corporate headquarters: one in Plano, the other in Irvine, California. KFC and Pizza Hut’s global teams are already based in Plano, while Taco Bell and the Habit Burger & Grill’s teams are located in Irvine.

Additionally, Yum’s U.S. remote workforce, roughly 90 workers, will also be asked to move to the campus where their work is based.

But Yum isn’t entirely abandoning Kentucky. The company and the KFC Foundation plan to maintain corporate offices in Louisville. Plus, KFC still plans to build a new flagship restaurant in its former hometown.

I guess it will now be TFC?

Today’s Useless Fact of the Day - There's a word in Japanese for a person who buys more books than they could ever possibly read.  It's "tsundoku."
