1999 - The ABBA Generation - A-Teens

25 Years Ago - 1999 A-Teens (for ABBA Teens) released their debut album The ABBA Generation.

It's an album of covers and was a smash hit in Sweden (chart peaks are from there unless noted.)

"Mamma Mia" It hit #1 and in Denmark.

"Super Trouper" peaked at #2.

"Gimme! Gimme! Gimme! (A Man After Midnight)" peaked at #2.

"Dancing Queen" was the only one to chart in the US at #95. The video is a riff on The Breakfast Club, even starring Paul Gleason the actor who played the assistant principal.
