1996 Whitney Houston was in the movie The Preacher's Wife, and the soundtrack was released this week in 1996. It is the best-selling gospel album of all time. Singles "I Believe in You and Me" (#4 #2 AC #4 R&B), "Step by Step" (#15 #12 AC #3 Dance), and "My Heart is Calling" (#77 #35 R&B.)

For me, this album has one of the best renditions of "Joy to the World" alongside the Georgia Mass Choir.
