1994 - Bedtime Stories - Madonna

30 Years Ago - 1994 Madonna released her sixth album Bedtime Stories.

It was always an event when Madonna released an album at this time, racing to get the album at the Record Store. I think that this is one of her albums that is forgotten outside of the hits and that's a shame. It's an enjoyable listen and one that I will revisit more.

"Secret" made #3 Hot 100 and Pop Airplay, #2 AC, #1 Club, and #9 Rhythmic.

"Take a Bow" co-written with Babyface it made #1 Hot 100, Pop Airplay, and AC, #35 Adult Pop Airplay, and #4 Rhythmic.

"Bedtime Story" was co-written by Bjork She based the lyrics on ideas and concepts she had always wanted to hear Madonna say. It peaked at #42, #1 Club, #38 Pop Airplay, #40 Rhythmic.

"Human Nature" is an answer to the backlash from the Erotica era. It made #46, #2 Club, #57 R&B, #19 Rhtyhmic.
