1992 The Rush soundtrack was released. Written and performed by Eric Clapton, It featured the song "Tears in Heaven" that won three Grammy Awards, Best Male Pop Vocal Performance, Song of the Year, and Record of the Year. The song reached #2 on the Hot 100.
The song is written about the death of his four year old son. He also recorded an MTV Unplugged album.
