1989 - UHF – Original Motion Picture Soundtrack and Other Stuff - Weird Al

35 Years Ago - 1989 Weird Al released UHF – Original Motion Picture Soundtrack and Other Stuff.

The album was not well recieved.

"UHF" The video features clips from the movie and Al being different artists of the time including Prince, Talking Heads, Peter Gabrial, and ZZ Top.

"Money for Nothing/Beverly Hillbilies" was allowed only because Mark Knopfler and Guy Fletcher from Dire Straits played on the Parody. It was originally offered to Prince as a Let's Go Crazy parody.

"Isle Thing" is a parody of "Wild Thing"

"Spatula City" is a hilarious skit, and was a placeholder on the feed of the early days of the Rush Limbaugh show, where local stations would cover with theirs. It ran many times on WCLI in Corning.
