1989 - Full Moon Fever - Tom Petty

35 Years Ago - 1989 Tom Petty released his solo album Full Moon Fever. It does have contributions from the Heartbreakers.

Also, Jeff Lynne, Roy Orbison, and Geroge Harrison were part of the album.

The original compact disc release of the album contains a hidden track in the pregap of Track 6, at the point where cassette or LP listeners would have to flip sides to continue.

"Hello, CD listeners. We've come to the point in this album where those listening on cassette, or record, will have to stand up, or sit down, and turn over the record, or tape. In fairness to those listeners, we'll now take a few seconds before we begin side two. [pause] Thank you. Here's side two."

"I Won't Back Down" made #12, #1 Mainstream Rock, and #29 Alternative Airplay.

"Runnin' Down a Dream" peaked at #23 and #1 Album Rock Tracks.

"A Face in the Crowd" peaked at #46 and #5 Album Rock Tracks.
