It was produced by L.A. Reid and BabyFace with his brothers Melvin and Kevin and Keith Mitchell.

This is a great example of what some R&B sounded like in 1989.

"Heat of the Moment" made #5 R&B and #74 Hot 100.

"Ready or Not" peaked at #1 R&B and #7 Hot 100 and AC.

"Can't Stop" peaked at #1 R&B and #6 Hot 100. It also made #25 Club.
