35 Years Ago - 1989 Cyndi Lauper released her third album A Night to Remember.
The album was supposed to be out in 1988 under the name Kindred Spirit but was delayed as songs were reworked. Cyndi referred to it as A Night to Forget.
Three singles were released in the US
"I Drove All Night" was a hit and the last time Cyndi appeared in the Top 40. It made #6 and #43 AC. It received a Grammy Award nomination for Best Female Rock Vocal Performance.
"My First Night Without You" made #62.
"A Night to Remember" was released but didn't chart.
