1988 - The Seventh One - Toto

35 Years Ago - 1988 Toto released their seventh album The Seventh One.

Two singles were released in the US, the first was "Pamela" peaking at #22 and #9 AC. It was the last top 30 hit in the US for Toto.

"Stop Loving You" was the second single and it didn't chart here in America.

"Pamela", was heavily promoted by Columbia. However, shortly after its release, the president of Columbia, Al Teller, left the label. In his absence, the promotion of "Pamela" waned and it stalled at number 22 on the Billboard Hot 100 and quickly dropped off the chart.
