1988 - Small World - Huey Lewis and the News

35 Years Ago - 1988 Huey Lewis and the News released their fifth album Small World.

Three singles were released.

"Perfect World" had a #3 peak on the Hot 100 (#2 AC #5 Album Rock.) This was their last Top 10 hit.

"Small World Pt 1" made #25 (#19 AC #28 Album Rock)

"Give Me the Keys (And I'll Drive You Crazy)" made #47.

The album also featured an instrumental "Slammin'" that was written for the purpose of being used for highlights for the San Francisco 49ers Football team whom they were big fans of. He also said it should have been called "49ers Highlights."
