35 Years Ago - 1987 Pet Shop Boys released their second album Actually.
The singles were "It's a Sin" (#9 #3 Club), "What Have I Done to Deserve This?" w/Dusty Springfield. Their record company suggested Tina Turner or Barbra Streisand.
(#2 #14 AC #1 Club), "Rent" (no US release), and "Heart" initially written the song for Madonna, though they never asked her to record it, instead keeping it for themselves. (No US release.)
