1987 Randy Travis released his second album Always & Forever. The album featured four #1 Country hits, "Forever and Ever, Amen", "I Won't Need You Anymore (Always and Forever)", "Too Gone Too Long", and "I Told You So". "Forever and Ever, Amen" won a Grammy for Best Country & Western Song at the 30th Annual Grammy Awards in 1988. It also claimed Song of the Year honors from the Academy of Country Music.

There must not have been a commercially released single because this was a big crossover hit
