1986 Cameo released their twelfth album Word Up!. The title track made #6, three weeks at #1 R&B, and #1 on the Dance Club chart. The follow-up "Candy" reached #1 R&B and #21 on the Hot 100. "Back and Forth" (#50 #3 R&B) and "She's Mine" were also released.
