40 Years Ago - 1985 the soundtrack for the movie Vision Quest was released.
The album was a collection of pop and rock songs. Excluding songs from the movie by REO Speedwagon and Berlin, it did have hits from Journey and Foreigner plus songs by John Waite, The Style Council, Don Henley, Sammy Hagar, and...."Crazy for You" by Madonna.
In fact, the movie was renamed that in New Zealand, Australia, and the UK.
It earned her first Grammy Nomination for Best Female Pop Vocal and was her second #1 single. Also charting #2 AC and #80 R&B/Hip Hop.
