40 Years Ago - 1984 Julian Lennon released his debut album Valotte.

He is the son of John Lennon and his first wife Cynthia. The album was produced by Phil Ramone

"Too Late for Goodbyes" peaked at #5, #1 AC, and #11 Mainstream Rock.

"Valotte" where he sounds very much like his father made #9, #4 AC, and #2 Mainstream Rock. The name comes from a French chateau called the Manor de Valotte.

"Say You're Wrong" peaked at #21, #6 AC, and #3 Mainstream Rock.

"Jesse" made #54.

40 Years Ago - 1984 Paul McCartney released his fifth solo album and the soundtrack to Give My Regards to Broadstreet.

"No More Lonely Nights" made #6 and #2 AC. David Gilmour from Pink Floyd played guitars.

Most of the rest of the album featured covers of Beatles' songs, Wings, and solo tracks by McCartney.
