1984 - The Unforgettable Fire - U2

40 Years Ago - 1984 U2 released their fourth album The Unforgettable Fire.

The album's title is a reference to "The Unforgettable Fire", an art exhibit about the atomic bombing of Hiroshima.

The only song released in the US was

"Pride (In the Name of Love_" was written about the American civil rights leader Martin Luther King Jr., and peaked at #33 and #2 Mainstream Rock.

In 1991 C & C Music Factory made a killer dance track of the song.
