1983 - Trouble in Paradise - Randy Newman

40 Years Ago - 1983 Randy Newman released his seventh album Trouble in Paradise.

It should be called Randy fronts Toto as with many albums of the era feature the members of Toto as session musicians.

The first single is a duet with Paul Simon. "The Blues" made #51 and #36 AC.

The one everyone remembers from this album is "I Love L.A." featuring one of the best lines in music "With a big nasty redhead by my side."

The song eventually bubbled under the Hot 100 at #110.
