1983 - 2 - Laura Branigan

40 Years Ago - 1983 Laura Branigan released her second album 2.

The first single "Solitaire" peaked at #7 (#16 AC #28 Club.)

The next is the Michael Bolton penned "How Am I Supposed to Live Without You" making #12 (#1 AC.)

The third single (with no chart action) freaks me right out. "Deep in the Dark" is actually the melody of "Der Kommissar" with different lyrics. (it kind of helped After the Fire's version become a hit.)

The album includes a misguided remake of The Who's "Squeeze Box."
