40 Years Ago 1982 Yazoo (or Yaz in the US) released their debut album Upstairs at Eric's.
Featuring the pairing of Vince Clarke and Alison Moyet the album spawned three singles, "Only You" (with Situation as the B side)(#67 #38 AC), "Don't Go" (#1 Club), and (first single released in the US) "Situation" (#73 #31 R&B #1 Club) It also hit #1 Club again in 1999.
