40 Years Ago 1982 Steve Winwood released his third album Talking Back to the Night.
One single was released, "Valerie" (1982 - #70 #13 Mainstream Rock. 1987 - #9 #13 Mainstream Rock #2 AC.)
Eric Prydz later sampled "Valerie" in 2004 for a house music track and presented it to Winwood, who was so impressed with what Prydz had done, he re-recorded the vocals to better fit the track now called "Call On Me."
