40 Years Ago - 1982 Hall & Oats released their eleventh album H2O.
The album featured three big singles, "Maneater" - the song actually was originally written "about NYC in the ’80s. It's about greed, avarice, and spoiled riches. But we have it in the setting of a girl because it's more relatable. It's something that people can understand. That's what we do all of the time" (#1 #14 AC #18 Club #18 Mainstream Rock #78 R&B), "One on One" (#7 #4 AC #8 R&B), and "Family Man" (a cover of a Mike Oldfield song #6 #36 AC #81 R&B.)
