1982 The Pointer Sisters released their ninth album So Excited! The album's singles were "American Music" (#16 #23 R&B #9 AC), "I'm So Excited" (#30 #46 R&B #28 Dance), and "If You Wanna Get Back Your Lady" (#67 #44 R&B #48 Dance.)
"I'm So Excited" would get remixed and make #9 from the next album Break Out.
There's also a version of Prince's "I Feel For You"
