45 Years Ago - 1979 Michael Jackson released his fifth album Off the Wall.
His first produced by Quincy Jones and has sold over 20 million copies worldwide.
"Don't Stop 'Til You Get Enough" won him the Best R&B Vocal Performance Male at the Grammys. It was a #1 smash at Hot 100 and R&B, #2 Club.
"Girlfriend" in radio, this is considered an album killer. They just don't want to work it anymore and move on. It was released in the UK only.
Listening again I'm wondering why "Workin' Day and Night" was never released as a single.
