1979 - Bad Girls - Donna Summer

45 Years Ago - 1979 Donna Summer released her seventh album Bad Girls.

A double album that became at the time the best-selling and most critically acclaimed album of her career.

Summer became the first female artist to have two songs in the top three of the Billboard Hot 100, when on the week of June 30, 1979, "Hot Stuff" fell to number two and "Bad Girls" rose to number three.

The US Singles were,

"Hot Stuff" was a #1 Hot 100 and Club song, #3 R&B. ** The B-Side is one of my favorite songs from the album “Journey to the Center of Your Heart.”

"Bad Girls" made #1 on Hot 100, Club, and R&B.

"Dim All the Lights" was the only song she wrote alone and she considered giving it to Rod Stewart. (think about that!) It made #2, #44 AC, #54 Club, #13 R&B.

"Walk Away" peaked at #36 and #35 R&B.

And because I like it.
